Our Story

                                                                             ARTMED Aesthetics and Wellness, formerly known as Touch of Beauty Day Spa,

                                                                            was launched by the amazing Hilde St. Claire in 1996, which introduced the European                                                                                      Facial treatments in Palm Desert, CA. This fantastic spa is all about offering a variety                                                                                      of relaxing treatments, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes every                                                                                           visit feel special.​ When the pandemic hit, Hilde made the bold choice to sell the business.                                                                                Candice Mangosing, a mentee of Hilde for 5 years, stepped up to take the reins! Being an                                                                       esthetician and massage therapist, she expanded the services to include rejuvenating massages and body scrubs, all while maintaining the spa's high standards of excellence.​

In early 2024, Touch of Beauty Day Spa closed its doors for a fresh start. During this exciting transition, a new Med Spa company (ARTMED) wanting to establish and make a name for themselves in the med spa industry, was on the lookout for the perfect location in the desert area. As fate would have it, with two companies having the same core values, business ethics and positive outlook, it was a perfect fit!

By April 2024, ArtMed Aesthetics and Wellness took over the business and decided to merge

the companies together to achieve one common goal. ARTMED will continue to provide facial

and massage treatments as part of the Day Spa services while introducing advanced and

personalized Med Spa services like Botox and IV Infusion Therapy, Laser Hair Removal and

RF Microneedling.

where a Med Spa and Day Spa services converge in a brilliant and innovative approach to

aesthetics and wellness.  More than a spa; Artmed will uniquely stands out as the only place offering this combination of exceptional services, ensuring a comprehensive journey towards beauty and well-being. Led by the smart and talented Licensed Nurse Practitioner - MJ, alongside a creative visionary Entrepreneur - Mhykee, Artmed's story towards legacy continues ...
